Sri panwa welcomes back the 2 Michelin star Chef Stefano Baiocco of Grand Hotel A Villa Feltrinelli restaurant together with his team for a Villa Feltrinelli Pop-up @ Sri Panwa from the 8th – 20th December, 2017.
This year, Chef Stefano and his team from Grand Hotel A Villa Feltrinelli are coming back to Sri panwa with even more fascinating & exciting new dishes. Starting from the 8th of December lasting until the 20th, Chef Stefano and his team will be returning to Sri panwa for the second time around to hold a two week collaborative pop-up @ Sri panwa’s Baba Soul Food restaurant. During this exclusive two week pop-up the audience will have the opportunity to wine & dine and experience the spectacular a la carte menu by Chef Stefano and his creative team. The award-winning chef will be serving simple Italian classics with their own creative twists such as L’astice and Il Tonno for starters, Ravioli, Le Linguine for pasta dishes, Il Branzino and L’agnello for main courses, finishing with Il Tiramisu and Il Limone for desserts. Taking their guests’ taste buds on a new and sensational journey, mixing different high quality yet simple ingredients, the team will also investigate Thai local markets on Phuket Island seeking the freshest as well as unique ingredients in order to create exquisite as well as simple dishes.
So who is Chef Stefano?
The 2 Michelin star Italian chef is known for his creativity and innovative dishes at the internationally acclaimed Grand Hotel A Villa Feltrinelli hotel restaurant on Lake Garda, Italy. He spends as much time in the kitchen as he does in the greenhouse & garden, using various types of plants, herbs, wild edible flowers, and petals, in his cooking. With fresh ingredients and a desire to expose his guests to the true & natural flavors nature has to offer, Chef Stefano doesn’t play around.
His interest in the culinary arts first ignited after he was introduced to the world of haute cuisine at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence. Later perfecting his skills and techniques, Chef Stefano has throughout his career worked at some of the world’s most renowned restaurants alongside some of the most respected chefs in the world including Seiji Yamamoto at Ryugin, Joan Roca at El Celler de Can Roca and Ferran Adrià at elBulli.
